Thank you for your review. I am really pleased that the national guide and local guides made such a positive impression. They take great pride in their work, so it is always rewarding to hear that their efforts are noticed.

It is also good to know that the hotels, food, and overall flow of the tour met your expectations. We spend a lot of time getting the variety of destinations and experiences right, because that is what makes a trip feel rich and memorable rather than just a list of sights.

I take your point about Beijing, and you are not the first to wish for an extra day there. It is such a vast city with so much to take in, from the Forbidden City to the hutongs and everything in between. I just want to mention that we are always happy to quote for an additional night at the start or end of any tour. It is a simple change to make, and it gives you that breathing space to explore at a more relaxed pace or to add a side trip that might not fit into the standard itinerary. If you ever decide to return or recommend us to friends, please do bear that in mind.

We also genuinely appreciate your constructive observation regarding the visit to the Muslim Quarter. We completely understand that, after a long journey and an early start, an hour's walk in the heat may not have felt like the best use of time in that moment. This stop is typically included to offer a glimpse into the rich cultural and religious diversity of the region, but we take your point that the circumstances on the day made it less enjoyable than we would have hoped. Please be assured that we will review this element of the itinerary with our ground team, and we will consider whether alternative options or greater flexibility might be offered on that particular day for future departures.
