We also genuinely appreciate your constructive observation regarding the visit to the Muslim Quarter. We completely understand that, after a long journey and an early start, an hour's walk in the heat may not have felt like the best use of time in that moment. This stop is typically included to offer a glimpse into the rich cultural and religious diversity of the region, but we take your point that the circumstances on the day made it less enjoyable than we would have hoped. Please be assured that we will review this element of the itinerary with our ground team, and we will consider whether alternative options or greater flexibility might be offered on that particular day for future departures.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this, it sounds like a proper whistle-stop tour of China, and we’re delighted it all went so smoothly. Gary Guo will be delighted to hear he kept everyone together across all those trains, flights and cruises!
