You are correct, our tours are definitely packed, and “go go go” is a fair description.

Thanks for the honest note on Air China. The direct flight is a big plus, but we hear you, we’ll always try to balance convenience with comfort, so it’s useful feedback for future tour planning.

And yes, good point on the Yangtze cruise – you’re right that boarding is in the evening, so sailing begins properly the next day. Four nights on board gives you a proper taste, but it’s fair to say it’s really three days of cruising.

I do, however, take on board your comment that the pace felt too full on, and that free time was limited outside of Shanghai. For context, our tours are deliberately designed to be intensive because the vast majority of our customers tell us they wish to see as much as possible within the time available, particularly when travelling such long distances to destinations like China. We pack the itinerary with highlights to ensure you gain a comprehensive experience, but we fully appreciate that this approach is not to everyone's taste. Your feedback is valuable, and we will certainly keep it in mind as we review our future itineraries – we may consider offering optional days with more flexibility for those who prefer a slower rhythm.

That said, I am pleased that overall the organisation and guiding met your expectations. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on another Wendy Wu tour in future, and we would be happy to advise on itineraries with a gentler pace should you wish to travel with us again.
