This was a fantastic trip from the moment we stepped off the plane. Kumar, our national guide, was 100% committed to ensuring that every moment of our adventure brought knowledge and depth of understanding of his country and culture and provided us with so many new experiences. He never seemed to be off duty and frequently checked back with us that the tour was going ok. He steered us through the chaos of Indian stations and was very reassuring and comprehensive in ensuring that we knew the detail for daily plans Although, at times there was a lot of travelling, this only enhanced our discoveries. Some have previously complained that the road journeys are boring and uncomfortable. Certainly the highways can be a bit monotonous and bumpy, but this does provide an opportunity to catch one's breath and reflect on our adventure. Once off the highways the journeys provided an opportunity to have a glimpse of the daily way of life in the countryside, away from the cities. The local guides were also excellent providing so much information, often with a sense of humour. We returned home wanting to explore India further and on the basis of this tour we will definitely be using Wendy Wu! My only criticism is that there is too much food provided which often seemed wasteful when there is so much poverty evident in this country

Have booked my 1st holiday with Wendy Wu Tours. Very impressed so far - Joe was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He understood my needs and worked hard to achieve this. I've booked to go to India with them in October so I hope the whole experience is as good as their sales team.

Our guide, Kulmar, was excellent and most considerate of our needs and abilities. His attention to detail was impeccable.
The accommodation was first rate, and most comfortable.
The itinerary was engaging and interesting with time for see and experience all.

Wonderful, friendly service from the team at the roadshow at Tunbridge Wells on 20th Jan 2026. A very informative presentation to highlight a few of the places available with Wendy Wu. Space created to enable questions to be asked and the team were available to discuss any travel plans and to book a tour after the presentation.
Beau was very helpful in answering my questions and it was great to finally meet her having had numerous conversations regarding previous tours.
The Destinations Show is great to visit, but for me, the smaller setting of the roadshow was a much nicer experience.

Absolutely stellar service from Joe D, exceptional advice and listened to us about what was important on the two big trips we wanted to consider. We looked online first and saw what we quite liked but then he suggested a different option we hadn’t considered for both India and SE Asia, which have ticked every box. Just about came in on budget whilst delivering far more than we thought we could achieve, he wasn’t pushy, just super helpful and offered great advice. We have looked at a great number of tour companies supposedly specialising in these areas but all “told us” what we should do which didn’t hit all (or even some) of our wishes mostly by pushing what they wanted to sell and not listening properly. Wendy Wu and Joe ticked every box and even as highly experienced and mature travellers I don’t think we’ve ever received such good service, I would highly recommend you give them a try and ask for Joe D. I absolutely loved my trip. It was extremely well organised and everything had been thought of. Our guide Vish was incredible. He brought genuine desire that everyone loved his country to his work and it made the trip special.

This is a review of the Wendy Wu Grand India Tour which was approximately 30 days, and undertaken in October 2025.
The tour certainly covered a huge range of amazing sights and included some wonderful experiences that would be very difficult to arrange as an individual. In fact, as an ex-travel agent I simply wouldn't attempt to book a journey of this intensity for my wife and self in India.
There was a good mixture of transport types - plane, train, coach, camel, boat, etc which made it extra interesting.
Accommodation was of a good standard ranging from extremely good - historic old forts to fairly average Hotel in Mumbai.
All meals were provided, usually as a buffet. Lunches and dinners were all options of Indian dishes, so best that you enjoy Indian food.
Probably one of the real highlights of the trip for us was our Guide "M K" who you could see was genuinely interested in making sure that the group experienced the very best of India and went out of his way to ensure that every person in the group (14 of us) was well looked after and that we gained as much knowledge of India as was possible in 4 weeks.
