It was fast, clearly explained and friendly. Their expertise on holidays to China was obvious.

Whilst carrying out my 'due diligence' regarding Wendy Wu a guides name kept cropping up. David. And who did I have the privilege of as the National guide to our group? David. I knew all would be well. His attention to detail was remarkable, he took care of every member of the group as if we were members of his family. Admission to attractions, queueing, train seats, flight boarding procedures and security checks were all negotiated smoothly. We even got a trip on public transport, which I thoroughly enjoyed. His experience helped us avoid many issues and avoid many hold ups. I was always amazed at his ability to 'herd cats'. He worked well with the local guides who all shone as individuals with knowledge of their area. Shirley is fondly remembered, as is the guide on the Goddess stream.
He worked so hard. Being available to deal with any issues on arrival in a hotel, and his advice regarding travel avoided many potential issues. He packed the trip with such variety that I am sure everyone took home many precious memories.
He managed to create a great atmosphere in our motley group of less than 20. A feat in itself. Especially on those early rises, which avoided traffic and got us to places a little before it got too busy. Even though it was a four day holiday period in one area.
My special thanks go to him for helping me meet up with my relatives. He smoothed the way and aided our communication. The finale of Shanghai proved very exciting and my transfer back home went very smoothly. He is a 'more than I am' man and I wish him and his family all the very best for the future.
From a grateful tourist. Who is looking forward to return as a traveller, thanks to his guidance and care. It was more than a five star experiece.
P.S. The snacks that you got us on the bus will always be remembered. A feast.

This was an excellent trip. We were lucky in having an amazing tour guide David. He couldn’t do enough for us even buying spare SD cards and power packs on line for us when ours went wrong. The places visited were beautiful and interesting. All the hotels were good with comfortable beds except for the Yangtze cruise which had uncomfortable beds. I was though disappointed that nearly all optional trips required a minimum on half the group, which meant they rarely happened, as not enough people wanted to do them. This meant that we missed out on seeing things, some of which were the reason we chose the trip. I did not feel that this had been explained fully before the trip and it may have affected our decision to book.

FANTASTIC holiday with Wendy Wu. Our 4 week holiday in China was brilliantly organised, and we experienced China old and new, city and countryside, and I would totally recommend this trip. China, The Big One, delivered on every level. Our dedicated tour guide, Hoffman was exceptional, and all the local guides we encountered on route were knowledgeable and so helpful. All in all a fabulous experience.

Ms Beau Mehigan (Personal Travel Consultant) was organised, professional, helpful and decisive. We had already done significant research on Wendy Wu and had decided on our preferred tour. However, she provided the extra advice and information necessary, organised the flight details and timing, and answered any questions we had. Ms Mehigan is a credit to Wendy Wu and a match for the professionalism that we had hoped for.

Efficient, personal and informative

Excellent service thank you. The lady called Hope was very knowledgable and helpful and kept us up to date the whole way. We booked our own flights as we were traveling to other countries and it wasn’t a problem. Ten out of ten thank you. The whole experience was above our expectations.

Friendly and efficient, easy to book

This is for the web booking experience. All information was very clear. A very slick, quick and painless booking experience giving confidence as to what the tour might be like.

We have been interested in Wendy Wo to visit China for about 6 months, viewing the website and brochures to gain insight. We then placed an enquiry as there is so much choice and options. We missed a local presentation day which was disappointing, however after a few emails and telephone conversations with Natasha who was excellent, clear, polite and full of information we booked our months trip. The content of information gives you confidence all the details you need.

This trip provides a wonderful overview of the many faces of China. It gave me the chance to not only visit the fantastic historical sites such as The Wall, the Forbidden City and the Terracotta Army, it also gave me a great insight into current-day China with its fantastic infrastructure, modern, bustling cities and welcoming people. All of the guides and the tour leader at Wendy Wu were highly knowledgeable and passionate about their country. They shared their deep knowledge of the history, culture and customs and introduced us to the local food wherever we went. Our trip incorporated the main sights, big cities, small historical towns, the countryside, a cruise on the Yangste, a myriad of shows showcasing local culture and dances and spectacular scenery. Oh, and the pandas were adorable!

From booking to the flight home my experience was excellent. So welt organised.
