A very intensive trip that was packed with varied activities. It was mostly active and full on put there were plenty of points to relax and take things in your own time. The guides were amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The range of hotels were all of a good standard.
I cannot believe how much was included in this trip, Wendy Wu made sure to book so many things to do that went over and above my expectations

An excellent trip down through Vietnam, followed by a few days cruising the Mekong delta before heading to Cambodia. The tour took in all the expected sites plus a few more cultural experiences. All the hotels along the way offered comfortable accommodation.

A great opportunity to see Vietnam from top to bottom, as well as the Angkor Wat area of Siem Reap, Cambodia. Well organised and guided. Hectic schedule at times. Really enjoyed the out and about aspects, ie mountain walks with home stay lunches, locals fishing at Hoi An, traditional crafts on the Mekong Delta and the village on stilts in the lake near Siem Reap, 3 local bike rides with a chance to see different aspects of the local countryside, plus the scooter ride one evening in Saigon. Guides knowledgeable and good at problem solving.

Wendy Wu tours give you steal feel for the authenticity of every place you travel too.
They not only include all the main top attractions but give you an insight into the culture of the country by including museums and visiting and participating in local cultural experiences.
Their guides are local and very knowledgeable and impartial about the history of their country and its heritage.

I don’t know where to start other than with the word ‘exceptional’ my expectations were high from the pre tour support and interactions with Wendy Wu operational support however nothing could have prepared me for the care, professionalism and value that met me on tour! SOKHOEUN in Cambodia and HOI in Vietnam were amazing tour guides their vulnerability, insight and care was outstanding and gave such a warmth to the tour and depth of knowledge, alongside first hand experiences of their lives, families and history of the places. The write up wets your appetite, however every single day there was so much more, food, fun, stories, personal interactions - so hard to capture in a review however even the toughest of critics would struggle to find fault with the content! Catering for the needs of the group from food to mobility was always top of mind and carried out to the letter. The events / extras were such fun! Shows, boats, tuk tuks, craft demos, rooftop cocktails all executed with precision and so many laughs - for 16 days “we were family” and thank you all @ wendywu for a job well done! I will be back and 5 stars is not enough!

The guides were topnotch and were happy to provide their lived experiences of living in these countries. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the food whilst the guides ensured I avoided chilli and shellfish. The sights, sounds and smells added up to an experience of a totally different way of life we might imagine living if it wasn't for the heat (39deg feels like 42) that you need to be prepared for in March/April. Highlight for the wife was tailored clothing in Hoi An and the majesty of Angkor Wat for me.

Fabulous holiday with very knowledgeable & personable guides in both countries. Accommodation was very good and within easy walking distance of areas of interest during spare time. Arrangements of everything was excellent from the start of the holiday til the end.
Food was fabulous but maybe a little excessive at times.

This was a Go Beyond small group tour of 14 people.
Our local guide Lap was a mind of knowledge about his country. He kept us well organised and on time. He helped foster a fun atmosphere in the group.
Tour tour was well put together seeing the best of Vietnam & Cambodia.
I enjoyed hiking in the rice terraces in Northern Vietnam. Cycling around the rice fields in Hoi An. So much to see and do. I liked the hustle and bustle of Hanoi & Saigon. This trip combined being in nature and also the city. We had plenty of opportunity to meet local people.
Highly recommended.

The tour had a great itinerary. We felt that we saw and experienced a lot of different attractions. The guides were informative and kind. Special mention to Thiep, who was brilliant! The Mekong Victoria river cruise was excellent. The service was superb "5 star" and the staff were all delightful. The standard of cleanliness maintained throughout the vessel by the hardworking crew was excellent.
If we had to criticise anything about the tour in general, it would be the food. We dont mean the quality of the food, but it felt like we were repeatedly served a variation of the same set meal over and over for 25 days! It reached the stage where we were turned off the idea of eating.
In terms of the content and variety of the tour, we would definitely recommend it. You would find it incredibly difficult to organise an itinerary of this kind independently.

A fulfilling tour giving us many opportunities to discover archeological, religious, cultural and historical places. An active holiday with daily excursions, sampling cuisine in local restaurants and meeting local people. Two very different countries but both interesting. Not that much free time if you participate in everything but I liked the fact that a great deal was included in the trip as I’m unlikely to return as there are other places on the list to visit.

Plenty of boxes ticked as per the itinerary with a fair amount of early morning starts involving coach travel, this also included comfort breaks at honey trap locations.
Hotel accommodation was first class, but the evening meal menu's at different locations became quite predicable.

Excellent trip, fast paced, lots of time spent travelling between locations.
Would have been nice to have a couple of free days included so you could visit places not included on the itinerary.
Wendy Wu need to be more specific about their ability criteria as we ran out of time due to individuals mobility issues who believed they could cope with the given rating.

Very, very good service. I am always nervous at booking over the phone, but this time it was easy. The agent was informative and easy to talk to.
