Great service on the phone, went through all my options and questions, which were quite complicated. Wendy Wu was able to accommodate all my needs and wishes, and even went above and beyond for airport transfers. Wendy Wu was the only company doing Japan tours that would accompany you and organise everything for you. No problem with signs or language to solve.

Excellent. After booking I discovered I had chosen the wrong date of the two we were considering. I quick call to the booking team and it was all changed. They were so helpful

One hotel was a bit small (tiny rooms but adequate eating space to be clear) but coach trips and visits were excellent. Guide Yuki was outstandingly good, no problem too difficult to sort with calmness and accuracy and amazingly good grasp of English vernacular. If all hotels had been like first and the last the company would get 5 stars.

In just one week we visited several cities, rode on a bullet train, ate a wide range of food and saw many sites of interest in the country. An excellent trip.

Just what I wanted it to be.

This is the shortest of the Wendy Wu offerings and I was pleased I took advantage of the Hiroshima extension.

Wendy Wu are very well established in the in the Australian & UK tourist markets. They provide a very organised itinerary, where everything is all in (except drinks). As one of only 2 singletons on the tour I was pleased about that, but in a very busy schedule, understandably there isn't a massive amount of free time. Their pretour reading is very detailed.

One thing it didn't appreciate was the 20 hour journey via a 3 hour stopover in Abu Dhabi from Manchester. I might have sought a direct flight from London.

As another traveller said to me beforehand, there is nothing to dislike about Japan. She was right. From waking up to see Mount Fugi, the Tea Ceremony, the Calligraphy lesson, the beautiful shrines to ,the amazingly poignant experience in Hiroshima.

It is hot and it is humid for a Brit, never below 31 degrees in Sept. Even the Aussies said they wouldn't be out in this heat.

I'd use these people again in the Far East certainly.

This is an excellent introduction to Japan but it is mis-sold as a 'week in Japan' as it is actually only five days touring. It was a week away from your home country but not a week in Japan as the tour is only five nights there.
Wendy Wu need to correct this.

Lots of information whilst booking a holiday. They really looked at different flights for us too to find the best upgrade prices.

I found it very easy to book my trip. After searching online,, I knew where I wanted to go and the person I spoke to was great at booking the trip and also helping me choose which add on location I should go to.

The brochure was excellent and gave us exactly the information we needed.
We booked our holiday the next week without a hitch.
