What to expect on PeruRail Titicaca

A journey to remember

One of the most luxurious train journeys in South America, the PeruRail Titicaca offers guests an opulent and dazzling experience with its 1920s-style Pullman carriages. Enjoy delicious on-board meals, impeccable service, fantastic entertainment and jaw-dropping Andean scenery.

Breathtaking scenery

This specactular 385km train journey takes 10 and a half hours. You'll travel through the the Peruvian Andes, the Abra La Raya mountain pass at 4,350 metres and the commercial hub of Juliaca. On the latter part of the route, you'll be able to look on in awe at the train's namesake as you hug the coast of the majestic Lake Titicaca before pulling into Puno station in the early evening.

Cultural delights

Immerse yourself in local culture with onboard entertainment and food. Andean artists will perform Puno and Cusco songs and dances live on the train. You'll also have the chance to watch a Pisco Sour demonstration (the Peruvian national drink) - and of course sample it afterwards!
