Considered some of Asia’s best wildlife viewing, Chitwan National Park is the refuge of many rare and native species including one-horned rhinos, Bengal tiger, deer, monkeys and over 554 species of bird. The park was originally established as a rhino sanctuary with over 500 hundred individuals living amongst the dense jungle and tall grass of this Terai lowland area.
