Kings Canyon Holidays

Celebrating 25 Years of tour excellence

440 million years in the making, Kings Canyon offers landscape like no other place on earth. Picture sky high red rock cliffs, dotted with dense forest including ferns, palms and unique species such as river red gums and grevilleas. Take in the spectacular crevices and the never ending views stretching right across the desert plains. Truly a sight to behold.

Kings Canyon is often referred to as the ‘little brother of Uluru’ and is in the southwestern corner of the Northern Territory, part of the Watarrka National Park. The Park covers 71,000 hectares and is the ancestral home of the Luritja Aboriginal people. Scale the towering heights of the Canyon, perhaps by taking the renowned ‘Rim Walk’, a 6km walking circuit around the rim of the canyon where you will view the breathtaking domes of the ‘Lost City’ and the outback oasis known as the ‘Garden of Eden’, a stunning paradise featuring a permanent waterhole.
