Capturing the hearts of visitors from all over the world are the beautiful Pandas at the Chengdu Panda Reserve. This unique private tour provides you with the opportunity to see these magnificent creatures being reared in wooded surroundings reminiscent of their natural habitat. While it would be easy to spend much of your time with the Pandas, your tour also includes a number of popular destinations that will provide you with a well rounded experience in China. You can look forward to seeing the famous life-size Terracotta Warriors in Xian and the Grand Buddha in Leshan. Beijing and Xian will captivate you with their unique blend of ancient and contemporary style.

Days 1-2 : US – Beijing

Fly to Beijing. Arrive the following day.

Day 3 : Beijing

Walk on the Great Wall to appreciate 2,000 years of historical significance and admire the panoramic views. The Great Wall is China's most iconic attraction, which stretches 3,000 miles from the Shanhaiguan Pass on the east coast to the Gobi Desert in the west. Also visit the unique Temple of Heaven. In the evening sample the local delicacy, Peking Duck.(B,L,D)

Day 4 : Beijing

Sightseeing today includes a stroll through Tiananmen Square, past Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum to the treasure-filled Forbidden City, which has the largest and best preserved collection of ancient buildings in China. Also tour the exquisite Summer Palace. (B,L)

Day 5 : Xian

Fly to the former ancient capital of Xian. In the evening enjoy a Shui Jiao dumpling meal followed by a performance of Tang Dynasty dancing. (B,D)

Day 6 : Xian

Visit one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th century – the Terracotta Warriors and walk along the Ancient City Wall. (B,L)

Day 7 : Chengdu

Fly to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. (B)

Day 8 : Pandas & Buddha day tour

Visit the famous Panda Reserve to see these adorable animals being reared in wooded surroundings reminiscent of their natural habitat. Later, travel to Leshan to visit the remarkable Grand Buddha, the world’s largest stone-carved Buddhist statue. Take a short boat trip to view the statue from the river. The carving of the Buddha into the side of Lingyun Mountain began in 713AD and was completed in 803AD. Later, return to Chengdu. (B,L)

Day 9 : Chengdu – US

Fly to the US, arriving home later the same day. (B)

    Day 1: Arrive Hong Kong
    Transfer to your hotel.

    Day 2: Hong Kong
    Enjoy a half day island tour visiting Victoria Peak, Stanley Market, Aberdeen Fishing Village and an optional sampan ride (paid locally). The afternoon is at leisure. (B)

    Day 3: Lantau Island
    Begin with a ferry ride across the Victoria Harbour to Silvermine Bay to visit beautiful Cheung Sha beach and Tai O Fishing Village. Then travel to Ngong Ping Plateau to see the Giant Buddha and explore Po Lin Monastery where you'll enjoy a vegetarian lunch. Later, visit Ngong Ping Village before a ride aboard the Skyrail cable car. (B,L) If the cable car is canceled due to weather or any other reason, alternative transportation will be arranged.
