Discover the beauty and captivating heritage of the south of China on this unique private tour. Over the course of two weeks, you will enjoy a carefully crafted mix of stunning vistas, rich history, and fascinating cultural experiences.

A tranquil cruise down the stunning Li River provides the ideal opportunity to take in the daily activities in peaceful fishing villages. You can meander through the charming small town of Yangshuo, which provides a unique perspective into the lives China’s diverse inhabitants.

Not only does this tour introduce you to the quiet life in rural China, you will also have the opportunity to experience the energy and history of China’s largest cities. Your well rounded tour will take you through the most notable points of interest in Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai.

Days 1-2 : US – Shanghai

Fly to the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai, known as the ‘Paris of the East’. Arrive the following day.

Days 3-4 : Shanghai

Sightseeing today includes a stroll through the beautiful Yu Gardens and the Old Town as well as a visit to the Shanghai Museum. The following day, walk along the famous Bund, explore the restored Xintiandi area and enjoy a cruise on the panoramic Huangpu River.

Day 5 : Shanghai – Guilin

Fly to the beautiful city of Guilin.

Days 6-7 : Li River Cruise – Guilin

Cruise the stunning Li River to Yangshuo. The next day, explore the colorful local markets and return to Guilin to visit the Seven Star Park, Seven Star Cave and the 'Giant Panda Hotel'.

Days 8-9 : Guilin – Xian

Visit Mt Diecai. Later, fly to the former ancient capital of Xian and enjoy a Shui Jiao dumpling meal followed by a performance of Tang Dynasty dancing. The next day, visit the 20th century – the Terracotta Warriors and walk along the Ancient City Wall.

Day 10 : Xian – Beijing

Visit the Little Wild Goose Pagoda and the renowned Shaanxi Museum. Stroll through the lively Muslim Quarter to visit the Great Mosque and explore the Islamic food markets. Later, fly to Beijing and sample the local delicacy of Peking Duck.

Days 11-13 : Beijing

Stroll through Tiananmen Square, past Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum to the treasure-filled Forbidden City. The next day, walk on the Great Wall and visit the unique Temple of Heaven. The following day, tour the exquisite Summer Palace and enjoy a fascinating Chinese Acrobatic show.

Day 14 : Beijing – US

Fly to the US, arriving home later the same day, or the following morning depending on airline chosen.

    You will be met at Hong Kong Airport and transferred to your hotel.

    Enjoy a half day island tour visiting Victoria Peak, Stanley Market, Aberdeen Fishing Village and an optional sampan ride (paid locally). The afternoon is at leisure. (B)

    Day 3: Hong Kong
    A free day to enjoy the delights of this vibrant city as you wish. (B)

    Day 4: Depart Hong Kong

    Day 1: Arrive Hong Kong
    Transfer to your hotel.

    Day 2: Hong Kong
    Enjoy a half day island tour visiting Victoria Peak, Stanley Market, Aberdeen Fishing Village and an optional sampan ride (paid locally). The afternoon is at leisure. (B)

    Day 3: Lantau Island
    Begin with a ferry ride across the Victoria Harbour to Silvermine Bay to visit beautiful Cheung Sha beach and Tai O Fishing Village. Then travel to Ngong Ping Plateau to see the Giant Buddha and explore Po Lin Monastery where you'll enjoy a vegetarian lunch. Later, visit Ngong Ping Village before a ride aboard the Skyrail cable car. (B,L) If the cable car is canceled due to weather or any other reason, alternative transportation will be arranged.

    Day 4: Depart Hong Kong
    Transfer to Hong Kong Airport. (B)
