A China Experience - Private

Experience three of China’s most exciting cities on this memorable private tour. Explore the impressive cosmopolitan of Shanghai with its stunning mix of contemporary style and appreciation of time-honored traditions. The tour will take you through the highlights of historic Xian in the central-northwest region of China. You will have the opportunity to delve into the fascinating heritage that is well preserved in this beautiful city. Bustling Beijing, China’s fascinating capital city, provides a variety of historical and contemporary treasures to discover.

The China Experience tour will introduce you to the magic and mystery of China’s most beloved sites. It is not all fast-paced metropolis destinations either. The tour will also take you through the scenic historic canal town of Wuzhen. Stone paths, ancient bridges, and old world charm offer a change of pace and a step back in time. From the notable Terracotta Warriors and the intriguing mystery of the Forbidden City to the Great Wall, you will be sure to hit all the “must see” stops on this tour.

This private tour is personal and individual with private tour guides, private car and chauffeur.  You may travel on any date and have a choice of accommodations.  Travel is at your own pace and there is flexibility while touring. This itinerary is ideal as an intimate tour for couples, great for family travel and perfect for private groups.

Days 1-2 : US - Shanghai

Fly to the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai, known as the ‘Paris of the East’. Arrive the following day.

Day 3 : Wuzhen

Travel to the ancient canal town of Wuzhen and enjoy a leisurely stroll to absorb the atmosphere of this centuries-old town. Wuzhen is renowned for its old-world charm and picturesque setting.

Day 4 : Shanghai

Sightseeing today includes a stroll through the beautiful Yu Gardens and the Old Town as well as a visit to the Shanghai Museum. Also walk along the famous Bund, explore the restored Xintiandi area and enjoy a cruise on the panoramic Huangpu River.

Day 5 : Shanghai - Xian

Fly to the former ancient capital of Xian and enjoy a Shui Jiao dumpling meal followed by a performance of Tang Dynasty dancing.

Day 6 : Xian

Visit the 20th century – the Terracotta Warriors and walk along the Ancient City Wall.

Day 7 : Xian - Beijing

Visit the Little Wild Goose Pagoda and the renowned Shaanxi Museum. Walk through the lively Muslim Quarter to visit the Great Mosque and explore the Islamic food markets. Later, fly to Beijing for a visit to the unique Temple of Heaven and sample the local delicacy of Peking Duck.

Days 8-9 : Beijing

Stroll through Tiananmen Square, past Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum to the treasure-filled Forbidden City and enjoy a fascinating Chinese Acrobatic show. The following day, walk on the Great Wall and then tour the exquisite Summer Palace.

Day 10 : Beijing - US

Fly to the US, arriving home later the same day, or the following morning depending on airline chosen.

    Day 2: Hong Kong

    Day 3: Lantau Island
    Begin with a ferry ride across the Victoria Harbour to Silvermine Bay to visit beautiful Cheung Sha beach and Tai O Fishing Village. Then travel to Ngong Ping Plateau to see the Giant Buddha and explore Po Lin Monastery where you'll enjoy a vegetarian lunch. Later, visit Ngong Ping Village before a ride aboard the Skyrail cable car. (B,L) If the cable car is canceled due to weather or any other reason, alternative transportation will be arranged.
